Summary
Dr. Zhuoye Zhang is currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering (AAE) at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to this, he served as a Research Associate at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). He received his B.Eng. in Transportation Engineering from Tongji University under the supervision of Prof. Wei Zhu, his M.Eng. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University under the supervision of Prof. Linjun Lu, and his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from HKU under the supervision of Prof. Fangni Zhang. Dr. Zhang’s research covers a wide range of fundamental and emerging issues in transportation, including shared and automated transport management, multimodal transportation system modelling and optimization and network modeling and analysis. His research has been published in world-leading journals and conferences in the field, e.g., Transportation Research Part A/B/C/E, International Symposium of Transportation and Traffic Theory (ISTTT). He served as a visiting student at University College London in 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Taku Fujiyama, and at the University of Michigan in 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Yafeng Yin, respectively.
